About Us
Pam herself. Recently retired as marketer for a leading specialty meat retailer in order to have more flexibility with my family. I like cooking and entertaining but I love finding clever new ways to make a meal easier or better. Also fond of Samoyeds, water sports, cats and small red head children.
Pams-hams, the company. Since I’m a marketer, I can explain it best in terms of the semi-traditional 4Ps.
Products: We’re primarily about the ultimate baked ham glazed with sugar and honey. It really is such a simple and versatile meat – kind of like the little black dress of meat! Additionally, we offer other products to help round out your dinner or gifting experience without multiple trips or clicks. We have chosen an eclectic assortment of great completers from trusted manufacturers.
Price: pams-hams is a solid value. Compare it to your favorite specialty store brand and see. We’re a no-frills brand because we don’t want to have to pass the cost onto you. One example is that you may get multiple boxes because certain products will be shipped to you directly from the manufacturer to save in double shipping (shipping to our warehouse and then back to you). Also note that you may find some of our other (non meat) products in one of your local stores now or in the future. If so, buy them! It will save you money since shipping perishables can be pricey.
Place: (or distribution but that doesn’t start with a P) Shipped right to you. Period. Simplifying the experience in both ordering and receiving which also saves you money.
People: (this fourth P is really supposed to be Promo but we don’t do any). For the scrumptious ham, you are getting the benefits of over 60 years of premium meat processing history so you can be confident that it will be fabulous.
